Frequently asked questions

Is OXware open source?

Yes. OXware is released under the MIT licence. You can view, fork, and self-host the source code from GitHub at no cost. The pricing plans are for managed access, priority support, and future enterprise features.

Can I try before paying?

Absolutely. The source code is public. Download the installer ISO or run the one-line install script on any Ubuntu 22.04 or Debian 12 machine. No credit card required for self-hosted evaluation.

What happens when my subscription expires?

Your OXware installation keeps running — it does not phone home or enforce licence checks on your hypervisor. You lose access to the priority issue queue and email support, but your VMs keep running and all features remain active.

Is there a per-VM or per-host charge?

No. OXware does not charge per VM, per vCPU, per socket, or per host. The plan covers the platform itself. Run as many VMs as your hardware supports.

When will vCenter be available?

The estimated release date is August 31, 2026. Pro and Lifetime plan holders will receive vCenter access at no additional cost on release day.

Do you offer volume or education discounts?

Yes. Contact root@oxware.top with details about your organisation. We offer discounts for educational institutions, non-profits, and multi-node deployments.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfer for annual or lifetime plans. Contact us for invoice-based billing.
